Salesforce Integration Overview

All of the ICE Q&B sites are integrated with Salesforce so that quote and policy data is pushed across for the purpose of SDRs sales funnel and keeping the two platforms aligned.

All online customers will come from either the Insync brochure site or a landing page. Using the example of an aesthetics practitioner in UAT, they will go to https://insyncinsurance.co.uk/aesthetic-insurance/ > click to get a quote > come to our Q&B http://axis-aesthetic-staging.s3-website.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/

When they submit the contact details from on the Q&B site (first name, last name, email, phone) that data gets sent to Salesforce as a Lead. Leads form the SDRs team process for call backs.

In the meantime, customers continue to the true Q&B questions with /lead/{leadID} added to their url eg https://secureaesthetics.insyncinsurance.co.uk/lead/00Q6M00001A7cgkUAB

When they get as far as rating their quote, the lead gets converted to an opportunity in Salesforce which from a pipeline perspective changes it from SDRs pipeline to ready for a sales sagent to pick up.

If the customer goes all the way to purchase, the opportunity is then updated with a status of 'Sale - Deal Won' which takes them out of any follow ups from call centre staff. Instead they get added to email and SMS automations sent out by marketing. This includes a welcome email and access to Insync Benefits emails.

Note - Digital don't need access to Salesforce or to do any SF related testing as we aren't familiar with that system. We just need to ensure the Q&B and ICE aspects are working. Other members at Insync are responsible for Salesforce.
