Quick Start

This section provides an overview of the essential steps required to configure data for ICE Policy.

When using ICE Workbench to configure data for ICE Policy, after Logging In and setting your ICE Workbench Preferences:

  1. Lock all the items on which you wish to work (you would typically lock the Version of the Scheme on which you are going to be working, as well as any Reference Data tables)

  1. Make any adjustments to the Reference Data, and any non-finalised Payment Plans (refer to Payment Plans), and non-issued Data Dictionaries that you wish to use. You will then need to publish, finalise, and issue these items as required.

  2. Go through the parent Product (if you have access to this) and verify that you have the required specific Product attributes from the associated Data Dictionary.

  3. Verify the Sections, Excesses, and Covers.

  4. If required, create a new Version of the locked Scheme (refer to Creating a New Version of a Scheme and make any changes to that Version (refer, for example, to Cover Configuration and Scheme Definition Breakdown.

  5. Amend the Scheme Operating Configuration as required (refer to Modifying an Operating Configuration).

  6. Go through the Forms and finalise the Questions on the Runtime pages.

  7. Go through the Wizards and build your Page Flows.

  8. Go through Saving, Committing and Submitting Your Changes, until your changes have been published to the required runtime environment(s). 10. Ensure that all the items on which you worked are now unlocked, before logging out
